Henry Peter Sam Just

We regret to announce the passing of Henry Peter Sam Just on July 5th, 2022 in Vernon BC.
Henry was born on the family farm in Ranchville Alberta on February 7th, 1943 to parents Henry and Irene (Nee Holstein). After working on the farm till his teens he left the farm in 1960 for Vernon BC where he started a roofing company which eventually became Just Roofing. He married his first wife Delores and had two children Paulette (Victor Brown), and Roger. Henry was pre deceased by Delores in 1984, and son Roger in 2003. He is survived by sisters Dorene and Gerty of Medicine Hat, wife Laurie, daughter Paulette, and son Howard who came into Henrys life in 2016.
Henrys success in the roofing business enabled him to participate in his two favourite pass times, snowmobiling and power boating, both of which he enjoyed for decades! For years he made an annual sledding trip to West Yellowstone and made several boating ventures down to the ocean. Henry and Laurie were members of the Vernon Yacht club for years. His love for Chevrolets and Cadillacs was lifelong starting with a 57 Chev pickup back in Alberta.
His many friends and business associates will miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend.
A private interment will take place in September, and a celebration of life will be held at the Vernon Yacht Club @ 2:00 pm on Saturday September 17th, 2022.
