It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Stach at the age of 96 years. He passed away peacefully on March 27th surrounded by his loving family.

He was loving, kind-hearted, and had a passion for gardening and fishing.

Henry is survived by his loving family, wife Augusta Stach of Vernon, son Rolf Stach of West Kelowna, daughters and son-in-laws Tammy (Arbur) Fernets of Vernon and Susan (Tony) Walters of Lake Country, granddaughter and grandson in-law Jessica (Brian) Smith of Castlegar, and grandson and granddaughter in-law Robert (Vanessa) Stach of PEI, and grandsons Alek and Christopher Stach of Castlegar and Jacob Walters of Lake Country, great grandson Vance Smith of Castlegar, his sister-in-law Emma Dreger of Winnipeg and extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his son Terry Stach and his daughter Sandra Stach.

A celebration of Henry's life will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 10 am at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, Vernon, B.C. followed by a reception.

He will be missed dearly.
