October 17, 1920 - May 3, 2022
Herbert James Rogers was born in Cape Breton, NS in October 1920 and recently passed away at the Colonel Belcher care facility in Calgary, Alberta on May 3, 2022, at the age of 101.
He was a long-time resident of Vernon, BC and had many friends and coffee buddies. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Rogers (Rankin) in 2010.
He was a proud WW II veteran and a very proud Canadian. He traveled Canada extensively on his many "road trips" throughout his years even to the age of 99.
He leaves behind son David (Margaret) Rogers, granddaughter Ashley Rogers, grandson Curtis Rogers all of Calgary.
As per his wishes he will be cremated, and his ashes buried with his father in New Brunswick.
As he loved to say "The Road ends here"
