Hilda Pipke of Salmon Arm, born on January 29th, 1928, passed away on March 24th, 2023.
Hilda was born in Romania to parents Adam and Maria, immigrating to Canada after the Second World War.
Hilda was predeceased by daughters Ingrid Pipke and Rosemary Fulbrook (nee Pipke), and her husband, Albert Pipke.
She had a gentle countenance and was loved deeply by her son Marvin, granddaughters Robyn and Suzanne Fulbrook, and son-in-law Dick Fulbrook. She will be missed by many, both family and friends.
In the coming months, Hilda's life will be celebrated by her family, each in their own way, encompassed and guided by their individual memories of her. Hilda touched many with her openness and gentle nature.
Hilda requested that her ashes be scattered in a field of wildflowers, a very fitting choice for a woman who loved the natural world, and its abundance.
