IRIS FUNSTON GREEN
(Nee Hill) September 8th, 1922 - September 7th, 2005.
Iris died peacefully at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital after a brief illness, just one day short of her 83rd birthday. She was born and grew up in Toronto, Ontario where she met her loving husband John Alvin (Al), who is left to mourn her passing, together with their four children, John, Evelyn, Michael and Daphne. She is further survived by her brother Roger, two sisters, Audrey and Mary, and ten beautiful grandchildren all of whom she was very proud. Iris was a lovely and intelligent woman with many talents and interests. Very well educated, she chose to dedicate herself to her husband and family, managing to make an excellent home for them in many parts of the country as her life’s adventure unfolded. During her life she touched many people who will have fond memories of her, and can take comfort in the knowledge that she is now safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM. On Sunday, September 11th 2005 at the Christadelphian Hall #19-2200 40th Street, Vernon BC with Brother Ron Easson officiating.
