JAMES ALFRED passed away at Penticton Regional Hospital on October 21, 2002. James was pre-deceased by his wife Vera and will be missed by his loving family. Daughter Betty Lou of Kelowna, son Richard of Kamloops, step-daughter, Jill of Abbotsford, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild, brother Norman and sisters; Florence, Georgina and Helen. Jim will also be missed by his close and dear friend Joy, who cared for and was there for him every day. James served with the Canadian Scottish Regiment, was a locomotive engineer along with his close friend and son-in-law Bob until he retired to Penticton. James was also active for many years with the Penticton Iron Man Triathlon. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
