July 22, 1930 - October 14, 2016

Jim grew up in the lower mainland. The Fraser Valley was paradise in his youth. Jimmy moved to the Interior as a young man who loved what he did, working in lumber mills in Enderby and Armstrong, becoming a foreman. He had a great love for horses, training many, showing and team roping. Hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, gardening, bowling, baseball, rodeo, sports of all kinds were things that he did and, in later life, watched and kept up with, never missing a Canucks game, National Finals Rodeo, Calgary Stampede, PBR Bull Riding, World Series or Stanley Cup. Don Cherry a hero and Canada his country!

Always jovial and smiling, quick to joke, he made friends easily and had many, Jimmy was one of the Good Guys and we will miss him.

For the friends of Jim, he would say, “So long and it has been really good knowing you!”

A tea in memory of Jim will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Comforts of Home, 2200 Fletcher Avenue, Armstrong, BC from 2:00 - 4:00 PM
