It is with great sadness in our hearts, that we, the family of Jason Edward McIntyre, announce his passing, from Cancer, on Sunday, September 11 2016, at the Burnaby General Hospital, Burnaby BC. Jason’s wife Shayd, his mother Donna, and daughter Taeylor were lovingly by his bedside when he passed.
Jason was a perfectionist, when it came to his career and to his hobbies, which included silkscreening, and skateboarding (at the DITCH). He was “A MASTER” at Fly Tying, making his own original designs for fishing, big or small ones. His talent for the sport also led him to designing and making from scratch his custom rods for himself and friends. His passion in life was fly fishing and enjoying the Great Outdoors. He was also well known to dabble in BBQing, and enjoying sushie with friends. In June of this year he was a very proud Dad, to witness the graduation of his daughter Taeylor. Jason will be greatly missed by his coworkers, great friends, and family.
Jason is survived by his loving wife of 2 years Shayd, best mom ever Donna, and stepfather Dennis, and his beautiful daughter Taeylor, his father Doug and Lyette, brother Trevor (Jennifer), and Ebony. Nieces Cora Lee, nephews Skylar, Raine and Auston. Jason also leaves behind Shayd’s mother and father Bal and Raj Sandhu, and her awesome sisters Mandy and Sam and their families. Many aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada. We need to also mention his best buddies Cory McKay and his family, and Sean MacLeod and his family.
We all will miss you Jason, you will be in our hearts forever!
A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 1 to 4 pm, at The Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 5101 – 25th Avenue, Vernon BC.
