We regret to announce the passing of John Alvin Green at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on November 28th, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Al was born in Brampton, Ontario and grew up on the family farm nearby. During his service in the RCAF he met and married Iris Hill of Toronto in 1943. Together they raised four children while he pursued his chosen career as a Professional Engineer which took him many places in North America and around the world. Al was predeceased by his loving wife, Iris, in 2005 and leaves to mourn his passing their children, John Roger, Evelyn Mary, Michael Arthur and Daphne Ann. He is further survived by ten grandchildren, all of whom are now grown and leading successful lives in various locations around the continent. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9th, 2007 at the Christadelphian Hall, #19 - 2200-40th Street, Vernon, B.C. with Brother Bill Hlina officiating.
