June 28th, 1941 – October 2nd, 2016
This past Sunday night I said farewell to my father as he was being received into the loving arms of his Lord and Saviour. His final battles in life have been won and he has now been reunited with his wife and my mother, Sandra, and all those whom he loved that went on before him. He was a wonderful man and I will miss him greatly.
His departure from this life will be deeply felt by myself, his daughter, Shelley Omilian (Vernon Kasper); his only grand-daughter, Casandra (David) Kroeker; and great-granddaughter, Ellie; one sister, Anne Gnida; one brother, Peter (Grace) Omilian; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
A Celebration Of Dad’s Life will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 11th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Harold Young officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room. Dad will be cremated and then be interred in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery beside Mom at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Dad to the charity of their choice.
