Joyce Gertrude Gibbs was born on July 1st, 1927 in Sittingbourne, Kent, England and passed away suddenly on August 9th, 2016 at her residence in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 89 years.
Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her husband, George; two daughters, Christine Goodwin and Pamela (Dave) DeShane; one step-son, Daryal (Gillian) Gibbs; one step-daughter, Marjorie (Adam) Neigum; six grandchildren, Steven (Brooke) and Daniel, Renee and Shelley, Natasha and Jeffrey; four step-grandchildren, Kevin, Shelley, Tanya and Jarrett (Cassie); numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Brenda; one brother, Dennis (Ann) and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by three sons, Ken, Derek and Stephen; and one sister, Phyllis.
Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Joyce’s Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 27th, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.
