Chris died peacefully at Monashee Mews, in Lumby at the age of 98.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Baines and son, Verne Baines.
She is survived by her children; Vera Schunter (Bob), Leona McCluskey, Robert Baines (Georgia), Russell Baines (Marsha), Warren Baines (Lynn), many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Cremation will be followed by a family gathering at a later date.
