June Isabel Waterhouse was born on June 20th, 1926 and left us on November 13th, 2016 at the age of 90 years.
June will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Blanche (Bill) Covey of Falkland, B.C. and Evelyn (Garry) Toma of Cherryville, B.C.; five grandchildren, Ralph, Lenard and Lora Covey and Michael and David Toma; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Kent of Chase, B.C. and Amy Biegler of Falkland, B.C.; numerous nieces, nephews and several members of the Waterhouse family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney & Blanche Walmesley; one brother, Eric; five sisters, Gladys, Vera, Peggy, Phyllis and Ruth; her first husband, Wm. Shaw; and by her second husband, Len Waterhouse.
In respecting June’s wishes, she was cremated and there will be no Funeral Service held. A gathering of family and friends will take place in the spring of 2017 following the placement of her cremated remains.
We, June’s family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Staff at Polson Care Facility for their kind and exceptional care of June during her time with them, especially during the last days of her life.
