It is with love and sadness that we regretfully announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Kat was born in Vanguard Saskatchewan. She was the middle child of 13 siblings. She married the love of her life, Bill Tompke, and they were happily married for 22 years. Bill and Kat started their married life in Weyburn Saskatchewan where they had two children (Debra and Terry Tompke). The family moved to the Okanagan in the summer of 1969. Kat called Vernon home for her remaining years.
Kat is survived by her daughter Debra, grand daughter Karly, and her sister Diane. The family would like to invite friends and family to Kat’s home on Star Road on Sunday October 2nd at 2pm for an informal gathering and celebration.
Kat always welcomed friends and family to her home with open arms. Her generosity knew no bounds. We look forward to celebrating this amazing woman’s life and legacy with all of you; her friends and family.
