In loving memory ~
We are saddened to announce the passing of Kathryn Dianne Egerton on June 5, 2024 at the age of 67 years.
Kathie will be remembered and greatly missed by her loving husband Alfred, her brothers Steven (Joanne) and Brian, her God children and numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Frances Furby, brothers David and Lance.
Kathie lived her life to the fullest, setting an example of strength and willpower for all her family and friends. After a double lung transplant in 1996, Kathie accomplished many lifelong dreams including running a 10k Vancouver Sun Run, playing slo-pitch softball and extensive travelling with her husband Alfred.
Special thanks to Dr. Chris Cunningham, Dr. Harold Yacyshyn and all the health care providers that cared for her throughout her life. Thanks to the BC Transplant Clinic and the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic.
Kathie would have liked to remind everyone to sign up for organ donations as she was a shining example of their power
