Laurene Honey

Shortly after her 80th trip around the sun on our blue marble, Laurene Honey passed away with her family corralled tightly by her side. Dec 5 2019 Hospice house Vernon. "I'm an old
Salmon heading up stream" she would say.
Her sharp mind, love of family, friends, painting, reading, horses, dogs, oceans, lakes, mountains, and even the Cunucks will be missed dearly.
She helped raise two great men, dogs, pheasants, and fish. She Fished oceans and hunted mountains and nursed at the Royal Columbian Hospital while raising a family dynasty with
her husband of 57 years Arnold.
Special thanks to the many care givers, health care professionals, and Hospice house. We celebrate her life, and are grateful to have been on this journey with her.
A celebration of life for Laurene is planned for Wednesday Dec 18 1 pm @ the Schubert Centre 3505 30th Ave. Vernon. (More parking across the street). Another celebration will be held in the lower mainland in the new year, location and date TBA.
