In loving memory ~
It is with great sadness we must announce the passing away of our father Les on May 19th due to complications from cardiac incidents. He was surrounded by family and friends as he peacefully slipped away and we are heartbroken to lose him.
Les was predeceased by his wife Kris, dad Bert, mom Doreen and sister Jock. He is survived by his daughter Jessica, son Allan (Janene), and grandchildren Emily and Austin. His stepmom Irene, Aunt Carol, cousins, sisters/brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and too many friends to list.
Les' happy places were fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends. Teasing and flirting with the gals at the pool. Entertaining all with his quick wit and verbal retort. Always welcomed anyone into his home for a "Covey fix".
Thank you to the wonderful medical teams at VJH and KGH especially ICU Dr. Foster, ICU nurse Matt and Social Worker Nicola for their kindness and compassion during Dad's final hours.
We would love for those who knew him to join us at a celebration of life on July 23rd, 2023, at the Army & Navy Hall in Vernon. 2500 46th Avenue.
