January 20, 1953 - October 31, 2018
Lin was born on January 20, 1953 and was called Home to be with her Lord on October 31, 2018 at the age of 65 years. Lin is lovingly remembered by her husband Ken; to whom she was married for 45 years, their son Luke, daughter-in-law Stephanie and granddaughters Tianna, Jayda, Milaya and Nikita. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents and birth mother. Lin was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Victoria, BC at age 13. Ken and Lin met at church. They were married May 26, 1973 and began life's adventures together. They lived in Calgary, AB, Vernon, BC and a few years in the United States. Lin loved her family with all her heart. She had a great passion for bible study. She enjoyed scrapbooking and card marking. Her granddaughters were the joy of her life. She was a devoted Jesus Follower. Her faith in God, her love for Jesus and the promise of eternal life with her Savior sustained her. She will be greatly missed by family and friends and every life she touched.
One of her favorite Bible verses is:
"He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to
Walk humbly with your God."
Micah 6:8
Since Lin was an adopted child and felt very strongly about saving babies, since she herself may well have never been born, in lieu of flowers please donate to the pregnancy care center in your area, such as the Live Well Clinic in Vernon.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2019.
