Linda Margaret Forsyth was born on February 9th, 1948 in Belfast, Northern Ireland and passed away on December 16th, 2016 in the North Okanagan Hospice, Vernon, B.C. at the age of 68 years. She is finally at peace after having fought a lengthy battle with breast cancer.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim, to whom she was married for 37 years; one son, J.J. (Courtney) Forsyth and their daughter, Kate of Calgary, Alberta. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Nora McMurray.

Linda came to Canada as a young child in 1951 and was raised and educated in Vancouver, B.C. She married James Forsyth in November 1979 at the Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church and soon after their marriage they moved to Calgary, Alberta where they lived until 2006. Then, after a year of residing in Invermere, B.C., Linda and Jim made their final move to Vernon in 2007.

Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Linda’s Life which will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Dr. Teresa Charlton officiating.
