With the heaviest of hearts and the fondest of memories, we regret to announce the passing of Louis Kuyper on October 5, 2019 in Vernon, BC.
Louis was well known to many in the Vernon and surrounding area, a well-respected man of many talents. Louis had such a fondness of math and computers, he was also passionate about recycling, hang gliding, spending time with his family, and doing construction and carpentry, which can be seen in many places around BC. Louis will be forever loved and missed by his beloved wife Louise, to whom he was married for 59 years, his 2 sons, 2 daughters, 3 brothers, 1 sister, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, extended family, and neighbors in which he considered his family. He is predeceased by his parents Jack and Elizabeth Kuyper. A special thank you to Dr. Fred Dyck, Dr. Murphy, and all the staff on the 3rd floor of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital for their tremendous care and attention to Louis. A Celebration of Life will be held for Louis in the spring of 2020.
