We bid farewell to our dear brother Marc Demers on April 8, 2024.
A long-time resident of the Okanagan Valley, Marc was born in Montreal, Canada on July 2, 1946.
His family immigrated to San Diego, California. He attended the University of San Diego High School where he lettered in baseball, track and swimming.
Upon graduation, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a jet mechanic. He later attended California State Chico University and studied agricultural science. He moved on to find his 'forever home' in British Columbia.
Marc will be remembered by his community of friends for his compassionate and caring nature.
Known to many as Marco Leafo, he devoted his life to replanting the forests of British Columbia, orchard horticulture and all things 'Green'.
