It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Marion (Maisie) Allan on March 26th, 2024. Maisie, born on May 29, 1930, in Crosshouse, Scotland, peacefully departed in her sleep.
Maisie's journey was one of love, family, and adventure. In 1954, she boldly followed her sister, Jenny, to Canada, where she met her husband, Alastair, on a blind date. Four months later, they tied the knot and began exploring the world together. As active members of the Sons of Scotland for over 50 years, Maisie and Al made lasting friendships and memories.
She leaves behind her children Doreen (Cliff) and Bruce (Igor), grandchildren Chandel (Adam) and Jack (Breanna), and great-grandchildren Shea, Sloane, and Cameron. Maisie was predeceased by her husband, Al, after 62 years of marriage, and her siblings, Jenny, Bert, and Bunty.
In keeping with Maisie's wishes, there will be no formal service.
