It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Lorraine Curry, at the North Okanagan Hospice House in Vernon. Lorraine was born in Vanscoy, SK and lived in Saskatoon for many years until she moved to Vernon in 2001. She is predeceased by her mother and father, a brother, two sons and a daughter. She is survived by her son Warren, daughters Dawn, Ghlennis and Leigh (Neil) grandchildren Shayne, Shawnda (Jason), Erin (Ryan), Chris (Jill), great grandchildren Katlin and Jakob. Mom enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts and took up painting at 87 years old. Her greatest joy was being around her family. We would like to thank everyone at Hospice House for the wonderful compassionate care they gave to her. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those friends are asked to make a memorial contribution in memory of Lorraine to the North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506 - 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4.
