Mike Gavinchuk, passed away on December 29, 2019 in Vernon, BC at the age of 85. He is survived his loving wife Helen of 62 years, his sons Glenn and Lorne, daughter Gloria Pelech, twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three brothers Bill, George and Victor, two sisters Mary Kiehlbach and Olga Hlushko, predeceased by son Douglas.
Mike was born and grew up in Hilliard, Alberta, he worked many years for CNCP Telecommunications and after retiring from CNCP he continued working at Valley Auction in Armstrong.
Special thanks to all the staff at Creekside Landing who cared for Mike during his three and a half year stay. Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home 4303 Pleasant Valley Road in Vernon, BC on January 10, 2020 at 12 pm. Internment and refreshments to follow.
