NED EDWARD LOUIS
We regret to announce the death at his home on October 16, 2002, of NED EDWARD LOUIS, at the age of 89 years. Ned was a resident of the Vernon area since birth. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene, in 1999; and sons David in 1943 and George in 1994. Ned will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his four surviving sons: Fred, Walter, Jerry and Mervin, all of Vernon; and daughters: Dora Alexis and Mabel Alexis of Vernon, Rhoda Reiderer of Fort St. John, Rosella Louis, Lydia Louis and Theresa Bonneau all of Similkameen, and Georgina Louis of Vernon. He is also survived by 44 grandchildren, and 64 great-grandchildren; sisters: Jane Lawrence, Sally Brewer, Martha Louis of Vernon and Rita Clark of Vancouver and many nephews, nieces and extended family members. Ned was predeceased by one sister, Elsie La Croix. Prayers were recited at Ned’s home on Friday evening and a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 19, at 10:00 A.M., at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church at Six-Mile Creek, with Father Domingo Cedo, celebrant. Interment followed at Head-of-the-Lake Cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Vernon Funeral Home. 250-542-0155.
