On the 20th of February 2019 after 80 years of faithful service, Mom passed into the arms of her Lord and Saviour.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph and her parents Paul and Pearl Brooks.
She was a loving mother to 3 children, Bob (Cindy), Lory (Cindy), Charlene. Grandmother to 7, Michelle (Chad), Mark (Sadie), Melissa (Shawn), Garett, Tia, Daniel and Carla. Great-Grandmother to 6, Kennedy, Bryce, Brody, Cameron, Weston and Kaden.
Mom had such a heart for people. She was kind, loving, giving and wanted to help in any way possible. She enjoyed entertaining and welcomed both friends and strangers to her home. She would volunteer in the different communities and churches we moved to, resulting in many life- long friendships. Mom will be fondly remembered as we continue her tradition of family get-togethers, especially holidays. We have many warm memories to sustain us until we are reunited in Heaven.
Mom did not wish to have a funeral service upon her passing, but rather a celebration of her life for her loving family.
We would like to express our appreciation and thanks to the staff at Gateby where she spent the last year of her life.
