1940 - 2016
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Paul on October 1, 2016 in Vernon, BC, born February 29, 1940 in Kamsack, SK. In 1962, he came to Vancouver, BC where he met Helen and they married in 1965. Paul and Helen eventually settled in Armstrong in 1980. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Helen; children: Gary (Sheryl) Matvenko of Armstrong, Gerald (Kim) of Armstrong, Christine Matvenko of Armstrong; grandchildren: Shelby, Brandon, Sarah, Celeste, Samantha, Cheyanne, and Chase; brothers: Fred, Alvin; sister: Jean Koreluk; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held for Paul at 11:00am on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Armstrong Bible Chapel (2145 Rosedale Avenue, Armstrong, BC). Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAlternatives.ca
