It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Chartrand on November 3, 2021. She passed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She is survived by her loving husband Bob, daughters Jody and Julie, son Jarrod, step daughter Jocelyn, grand daughters Taylor, Rhyse and Martina, sisters Shauna (Les), Rene (Carl), brother George (Evelyn), nephews and nieces Ryan, Alisha, Jaslyn, Haley, Justin, Shiloh and numerous in-laws and friends who loved her dearly. Predeceased by her father Walter and mother Mary. Pauline was born in Hamilton, Ontario and grew up in Hope and Castlegar, BC. Her love of the outdoors, family and animals (especially horses) was lifelong. She cherished time with those she loved and was especially good with children. She was very passionate about her beautiful yard and flower gardens. She was a valued employee at the Safeway deli where she made many friends over the years. Pauline found the love of her life in Bob and they shared over twenty years together making memories travelling and spending time at their place on Mable Lake. Pauline always made you feel special in a way only she could. You felt her love, without question and her compassionate, kind heart was felt with her warm embrace and "I love you" every time she saw you. She was forever selfless and went above and beyond for her family and friends. We are all better people and know how to love because of her. Although the last years were not what we would have hoped, her smile lit up for her family and an "I love you" always accompanied it on every visit. The family would like to thank Dr. Pritchett (Pauline's doctor for over 25yrs) and all of the staff at Creekside Landing for their wonderful care. A celebration of life will be held at Pauline and Bob's home on April 30, 2022 as spring was Pauline's favourite time of year. The family welcome all who wish to attend.
