Peter Blundell

Peter Blundell had his final adventure on July 25th. His journey began in Wallasey, England 75 years ago and followed his beloved sister Patricia Hesketh to Canada. This is where he met Marian, his wife of an amazing 50 years. Many cities, towns & hamlets later they landed in Vernon.
Using his strong entrepreneurial drive, Peter's adventures ranged from folk singer, textiles designer, "picker", Blundell's Antiques owner, a furniture reproduction store owner, ice cream parlour owner, real estate agent, Chamber of Commerce manager, Certified Antique Appraiser, to Antique Road Show Canada consultant. Definitely his proudest accomplishments are daughter Susannah (Erik) and son Fraser (Sarah) and his 4 grandchildren, Hayden, Gage, Camille and Hugo.
He will be forever hungry for the road and the unknown adventures around each corner. His infectious smile and laugh will live on in us always.
A Celebration of Life will be at Vernon's Schubert Centre, Friday August 9th at 2 .m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation.
