May 25, 1957 - August 14, 2020
Rick was born on May 25th, 1957 in Dawson Creek, B.C. and we regret to announce his sudden, unexpected passing on August 14th, 2020 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 63 years.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rachel; four sons, Jared, Tyler, Daniel and Ryan; one grandson Alaric; and three sisters, Brenda, Bonnie and Angela. Rick will also be lovingly missed and remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosella Schneider (Hanson, Funk) and Harold Hanson; and one brother, Dwayne Omealusik.
Rick was cremated and there will be a private family Graveside Service held at a later date. May he rest in peace.
