We regret to announce the death of Robert (Bob) Adrian Ydo on April 12th, in Vernon, BC. Bob died peacefully at home with Lisa, his loving wife of 63 years, and his family by his side. Bob was born in the Netherlands in 1923, led an adventurous life, and emigrated to Canada in 1952. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Lisa, three daughters, Elisabeth (Ted), Alixandra (Herb), and Michelle (Werner) and their families. Thank you to Dr. Richard Harper, Nurse Giselle and the IH community services team, and the Nurse Next Door Services for their kind support to make his wish to stay home to the end come true. No public service by request, arrangements were made by Vernon Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
