Robert 'Gord' Hamilton passed away September 15th after a courageous five and a half year battle with I.P.F. and COPD. Predeceased by parents Bob and Margaret and brother Brian, Gord is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Bonnie, sons Clint (Lorraine) and Craig (Marilyn), brother Blair (Marilyn), 4 grandchildren whom he adored- Blake, Larissa, Whitney and Jake and four great grandchildren who stole his heart- Dakota, Connor, Arera and Jade.
Dad loved his family and all the fishing, golfing and RV'ing that afforded quality time. Millions of accident free miles were driven transporting milk as a partner in W. Cornish & Sons and then logs and later flour for R.G. Hamilton Trucking.
Our family are indebted to Dr. Dippenaur and Dr. Dominelli whose dedication and care for Dad went above and beyond. The tremendous team of home care professionals were a model for all in how to give selflessly to people with care and concern. Thank you!
Tremendously proud of his Armstrong heritage, Poppa left us content that those he loved knew it. Well done Dad and Keep On Trucking!
