Roger Lauzon was born on November 26th, 1931 in Edam, Saskatchewan and passed away on January 22nd, 2017 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 85 years. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Aurore, to whom he was married for 64 years, his children Dianne (Maurie) Holmen, Allan (Karen) Lauzon, Carmen (Bob) Lunn, Bea (Ted) Boutcher, Jackie (Cecil) Currie and Michael (Karin) Lauzon, 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, his sister Eva Combres along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his parent Alderic and Varilda Lauzon, his sisters Florence, Harriette and Marie Claire, his brother Leo, his daughters Denise Lauzon and Vivian McLeod and by his grandson Lani McLeod.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. James Catholic Church on Friday, January 27th, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Father Dale Normandeau Celebrant. A Reception will follow in the Monsignor Miles Room of St. James Catholic Church. Interment of Roger’s cremated remains will take place at a later date.
