1937 - 2016

The family of Sully are devastated to announce the passing of Ronald “Sully” O’Sullivan. Born May 18, 1937 in Vancouver, BC he spent most of his life in Steveston until moving to Armstrong on June 1, 1997. He played and coached baseball, rugby, and lacrosse and was the president of the curling rink in Richmond and Armstrong.

He is predeceased by his brother Tim; sisters: Eileen and Kathleen; son: Jimmy; and great granddaughter: Elizabeth. He leaves behind his wife Barbara; sons: Ron (Karen), Jerry (Linda), John, Jeff (Marney); daughter: Carol (Mike); sister-in-law: Willena; his precious grandchildren: Chris, Ryan, Caitlin, James, Danny, Taylor, Blair, Brook, Chance, Riley and Justis Ronald; great grand grandchildren: Mila, Juliet, Alexander.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Curling Rink (3315 Pleasant Valley Road, Armstrong, BC). In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a memorial donation in Sully’s name to the Armstrong Curling Club or a charity of your choice.
