In loving memory ~
Born August 1942
We sadly announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend at Vernon B.C. hospice after a short illness of cancer.
Sandee was born in Saskatoon Saskatchewan to Gordon and Doris Wade. The family moved to B.C. when she was a year old. And it was here that she met and married Gerald Haslam, raising their two sons Mark and Ryan.
Sandee was a valued and trusted volunteer in Vernon especially supporting the Special Olympics at Lincoln Lanes. Sandee was the proprietor of And Sew It Is until her retirement, and had many kind friends at Columbus Court. Sandee traveled to Wuhan China, taught english as a second language in Tra Vihn Vietnam for a year and spread great Canadian spirit.
Sandee was predeceased by ex-husband Gerald Haslam, brother Gordie, grandson Bradley and son Ryan.
She is survived by her son Mark, three granddaughters Morganne, Carly, Briana and four great-grandchildren, Rowan, Reid, Oliver and Samara.
