August 6, 1944 - January 22, 2022
Stan was born on August 6th, 1944 in Cardston, Alberta and passed away suddenly on January 22nd, 2022 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 77 years.
Stan will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Diane; four beautiful daughters, Christina, Cheryl, Charlene and Cindy; eight adoring grandchildren, Jasmin, Cory, Tyler, Erin, Connor, Remington, Jessica and Hannah; three great-grandchildren, Ameira, Grayson and Rachel; one sister, Marilyn; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Allen and Sheldon.
Stan was a man who touched the lives of every person he ever met. He had a very strong and determined spirit and always kept his head held high no matter what life threw at him. With all the challenges he overcame he always said, "If you fall down, just get back up" and "Always live life to the fullest, even if it is hard."
Stan gave us quite a few scares over the years but he always managed to pull through. He once said "I guess the devil doesn't want me and God ain't ready for me yet either." Well, we figure that God was now ready for Stan and on the 22nd he left on his last journey and has finally reached Home.
He is completely healed and knows what it is like to walk and run with his brand new legs and he couldn't have life any better than that!
In respecting Stan's wishes, he was cremated and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date. We, the family desire to express our heartfelt thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff of the Emergency Department and ICU at Vernon Jubilee Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care you all provided for Stan during his time spent there.
