Suzanne Norma Nolan (nee Neil)

Sue was born on June 10 1935 in Vernon, and passed away peacefully on August 13, 2022 in Vernon Hospital.
She will be remembered with love, and missed by her children: Mike (Kathleen), Kathy (Dennis), and Tom (Barb), grandchildren: Brock, Kelsey (Bohdi), Scott (Cassie), Kayla (Russ), Sam (Maggie), Rob, Alex (Chelsea), 6 great grandkids, extended family and friends.
Sue was predeceased by her parents Russ and Bel Neil, brother Bob Neil, and her husband of 59 years, Don. Mom lived her life in Vernon, spending time at the family camp on Okanagan Lake, fishing with her dad, riding horses, swimming and playing tennis.
She graduated from St. Paul's School of Nursing in 1956, and while there she met dad, while he was attending UBC Pharmacy School.
They lived a full, happy life together, with lots of travel, golf and bridge with friends, and took pride in watching her grandkids grow, becoming a good friend to each of them!
Her kindness, quick wit and never ending support will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
An Open House to celebrate Sue, will be held at the Vernon Yacht Club on Saturday Aug. 27th, from 1-4.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Sue's name may be made to : Community Foundation of North Okanagan-Nolan Family Fund.
