December 28th, 1944 – September 21st, 2016
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Robinson, in the presence of his loving family listening to sweet island tunes of The Mighty Sparrow as his family toasted with his life with his favourite rum Vat 19. His Spirit will not be forgotten. Terry immigrated to Canada from Trinidad when he was 18 years old, settling first in Manitoba where he attended the University of Manitoba, he later relocated to BC where he attended BCIT attaining his civil engineering degree in 1972. Terry leaves behind his beloved wife; Ranie, sons Richie, Sean, Andrew “Smokey” and Adrian. He will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings Diana, Zinny, Kameel, Peter, Tony and Kazim and their spouses. Terry will be dearly missed by his countless caring nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by his family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances that he touched through the years with his lively and joyful personality. Terry was famous for being an outstanding host, always spoiling his guests with his famous curry dishes and rum punch. Our lives will forever be changed by his sense of humour, carefree spirit and love for the good life. Rest easy Terry. You will be eternally missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life held for Terry on Saturday, October 1st at 6:00pm at the Turtle Mountain Winery (3111 Agnew Road, Vernon, BC).
