In Loving Memory ~
It is with heavy hearts our family announces the passing of our loving mother Marie at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years Joe; her parents Marcel and Alice; sisters Elsie and Marilyn; brothers Bert, Floyd and Roy.
Marie is survived by her sister Helen, brothers Marcel (Marj) and Richard (June); her daughters Joan (Richard) and Janet (Guy); her son Brian (Lauri); grandchildren Larissa (Graham), Brandon (Haley), Riley, Ashley; great-granddaughters Goldie and Alma Jean; and many other extended family and friends.
Marie was born in Elk Point, Alberta; then moved to Lumby, B.C. with her family. Here she met and married her husband Joe. They moved to Vancouver where Marie took pride in raising her three children and babysitting.
Upon retirement, they moved back to Lumby to be close to their birth families.
A celebration of our parents' lives will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the O.A.P. Hall in Lumby from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Interment at 12:00 pm May 10 at the Lumby Cemetery.
