Our beloved Mother passed away at home on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at 98 years. She is survived by daughter Joan Forbes, son Scott Primrose (Linda), 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, as well as her sister Betty Reid and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Brent and husbands John and Allen.
Mum was born in England, was a WAF during WW11 and immigrated to Canada with John in 1947. Dad was in the RCMP and they retired to Vernon in 1966. Mums spirit was indomitable and inspiring. Life was an adventure and she lived it to the end. She dearly loved her garden and the birds and wildlife that visited her there. Mum has left us with the stories of her life and her lessons in navigating all it offered-the challenges, the joys and the heartaches. She was so funny and so enjoyed her friends and neighbours. We miss her.
A Celebration of the life of Vera Primrose will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at Vera's home: 3221 Phillips Road from 1 pm to 4 pm.
