It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Vernon, age 78 after an 8 year battle with lung cancer, Vern passed away at the palliative ward at the Creston Valley Hospital.
Vernon is survived by his loving wife Gail; his daughters Lynda (Blake) Gainor; Janet (Brian) O'Keefe; his 3 grandchildren, Brendan (Meaghan) Morrice; Kowan O'Keefe; Karson (Kayla) O'Keefe; and Vernon's brother Don (Shirley) Bigelow.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
