It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Vern Ehnes (from Vernon B.C.) with his family by his side. He is survived by the love of his life Beatrice (married 69 years), his son Daryle (Lori) Ehnes, daughter Judy (Alan) Homeniuk, 3 grandchildren: Tayler (Char) Ehnes, Brittney (Brandon) Yawney and Landen (Karissa) Ehnes. He was also blessed with 5 great-grandchildren whom he adored.
Vern was the second oldest in a family of 11, predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters, leaving 2 brothers, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews to mourn his passing.
He will be remembered by his family as "dad, pops, poppa and great poppa", and will be remembered by his relatives and friends for his many stories and sense of humour.
A celebration of life will be held at the Army Navy and Air Force Club in Vernon on June 29th from 2 til 5pm.
