It is with great heavy hearts that we must announce the sudden passing of Victoria Twerdy (Omi), who died of heart failure at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Friday, August 12th, 2016.
We will forever miss her independent nature, searching intellect, visionary spirit, and generous heart. Victoria’s loving care and kindness have made us who we are today, and her eclectic interests and broad-minded outlook have inspired us throughout our lives. We remember her love of her garden, her annual pilgrimage to the Southern California desert, and especially her boundless affection for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Victoria was predeceased by her husband, August, and son, Martin. She is survived by her daughter, Annette; her grandchildren, Alena and Saelan; and her great-granddaughters, Mia and Paloma. We will carry our love for her within us always.
In accordance with her abiding interest in the metaphysical, we wish Victoria a most benevolent transition into the light. A farewell party will be held in Vernon at a later date, details to be announced. You are invited to direct any
