With the heaviest of hearts and the fondest of memories we regret to announce the passing of Vivian Yvonne Rickett in Vernon Jubilee Hospital on September 19th 2019. Born December 31, 1947 in Two Hills, Alberta to the late Bill and Eileen Wihnan. Vivian resided in Lumby with her beloved husband of 45 years, George Rickett. She was devoted to her family and used her skills in the kitchen to express her love to family and friends. She successfully operated the Gold Pan Café and The Highway 6 Cafe in Cherryville. She was a caring and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, friend and comrade. She was known to open her heart and her door to many of those seeking a shoulder to lean on. She is predeceased by Brother Len, and Sisters Deanna and Karen. She has left behind to cherish her memory, her Brother Murray, her devoted husband George, her children, Clinton (Colleen) Vinton (Dee) and Kim (Bill), Grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jody(Keith) and Ayrianna (Joel), Great-Grandchildren, Avery and Isla, and her Grand-dogs Morgan, Bentley, Moochie, Puddles, Junior and Hailey along with numerous friends and extended family. There will be a celebration in honour of her memory to be announced at a later date.
