In Loving Memory ~
William Harry Shepherd, aged 80, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 17, 1943, in England.
Harry, as he was known to us all, was a teacher in Dawson Creek and in the Vernon area. Teaching at Charles Bloom Secondary, VSS, and at Kal Secondary until his retirement
Harry led a fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and wisdom. He was a beloved husband, devoted father of two children (Scott and Andrew), and proud grandparent to three grandchildren (Sarah, Ben and Logan). His guidance, support, and unconditional love will continue to inspire and guide his family through the years to come.
Harry will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Harry's life will be held on March 14th at Trinity United Church at 11:00 am.
We welcome all of his friends, former students, and colleagues to join us.
May Harry's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.
