This is in regards to Juliette Cunningham’s comment about transit use by BX residents Feb 26.
“The bus may not stop in their area but they’ll drive to the bus stop to use the transit service,” she said.
People move to this area knowing that there is no transit service. For the most part, if they need to get some where they’ll drive or ask to be driven. Most services are just a short drive away. We don’t mind driving.
As the director (Mike Macnabb) said, he hasn’t heard from anyone who wants to be a part of the service. To the Regional District of North Okanagan board, leave it alone. Not interested.
