I was very disappointed to read the story regarding the amphitheatre decision.
Over the past few weeks, citizens have expressed their concerns regarding where the birds, bees and rattlesnakes would move when the theatre was built.
And that they have had to endure listening to people having a good time, such as noise from the power boats on the lake, noise from the baseball diamonds and noise from the cadet camp. Thank goodness Silver Star Mountain Resort doesn’t cramp your style.
To Coun. Pat Cochrane and MLA Eric Foster, where is the right location?
Greater Vernon should not be throwing way this opportunity. Mr. Foster, you obviously have more clout with the minister of advanced education than you do with the minister of transportation on Stickle Road.
To all of the businesses and citizens that will not reap any rewards from this bad decision, please keep MLA Foster and Councillor Cochrane in mind come next election.
