Well it seems that the Green Party, which is sort of holding the political reins here in B.C., is not so very green after all, and is just another political party of indeterminate stripe.
If they really did have any control and were really green, then surely they would have put a stop to the destruction of the wetlands and urban heronry here in Vernon. One would think that they would be enthusiastic about putting in a roundabout at Stickle Road, which would also mean the saving of the RV park which will surely go out of business as a result of no left turns being allowed into their establishment.
It would also result in the slowing of traffic in that area, which I suspect is the main objection to the idea.
