Greater Vernon is to be congratulated on the beautiful development of our new athletics park and oval at the college.
The track itself is stunningly beautiful and very pleasant to walk on.
It is easily accessible from the parking lot and the highway causes no interference by sight or sound.
I voted yes in the referendum that allowed for this development because I thought it would be good for young people and their sports, and for the future of Greater Vernon.
But how wonderful it is, that people of all ages can enjoy using the oval to stay active.
The retirement home in which I live (Orchard Valley) has a van to take us out for walking opportunities and I hope to make good use of Vernon’s newest, and best, facility.
