Terry Cousineau solidified his lead atop the Zone 2 Junior Golf Tour Order of Merit with his second win of the year and a top-10 result on the weekend.

Cousineau, who plays out of The Dunes in Kamloops, took the stop Saturday at the Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club, firing an even-par 72 to beat Parker Wadsworth of Spall by one shot. Cousineau, who finished sixth at Kelowna Springs Sunday, also won the season-opening event at Osoyoos.

Kyle Mayner from Kelowna finished third at Spallumcheen with a 74.

Hillview’s Jaden Steinke fired an 80 to finish 15th overall and third in his flight.

Max Lockwood from Hillview shot 82, as did Ryan Vest of Predator Ridge. Dexter Weiten of the Vernon Golf Club fired an 84. Kendra Jones-Munk of Vernon finished with a 92 and Will Lockwood from Hillview fired a 103.

Penticton’s Jordan Simpson won the Kelowna  Springs stop with a 71, beating Daniel Polischuk of The Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna by two shots.

There was a three-way tie for third between Nik Federko of West Kelowna’s Two Eagles Club, Mike White of Princeton and Derek Graham of the Kelowna Golf and Country Club, each firing a 75.

Top local result belonged to Max Lockwood, who fired a 79 to finish 14th overall and fifth in his flight.

Vest carded an 80, Wadsworth fired an 86 and Weiten shot an 87.

Cousineau has a 44.5 point lead on Polischuk in the Order of Merit. The tour swings to the Shuswap for stops at the Salmon Arm Golf Club Saturday, and Talking Rock in Chase Sunday.
